Objective To enhance the national defense concept of Macao higher education students, consolidate the national concept and patriotism.
Date December 6, 2020
Target Participants Students with valid Macao SAR Resident Identity Card enrolled in a higher education programme in or outside Macao in the academic year 2020/2021, and under the age of 29.
Note: Participants are required to be enrolled in a higher education course during the periods of registration and the activities.

Location Taipa Barracks of the People's Liberation Army Macao Garrison
Details of Activities Visit the military camp, and experience activities such as flag raising, military and personal defense.
Fees Free of charge
[Participants shall bear the cost of nucleic acid test as required to enter the military camp.]
Period of Registration From today to November 21, 2020
Registration Method 1:
You can make your registration on this webpage and, in the meantime, upload the following documents:
  1. Photocopy of the valid Macao SAR Resident Identity Card (front and back);
  2. Photocopy of the valid student card (front and back);

Note: The size of each uploaded document must be less than or equal to 1024 Kbytes

Method 2:
You may obtain or download the application form from the Centre for Higher Education Students (location map) or the reception of DSES (location map), fill out the personal information and submit the form, together with the required documents, to any of the above-mentioned locations.
Selection Quota will be allocated by the ratio of students in each territory.
Results announcement The announcement will be made on the event website in late November 2020.
(Successful candidates will be notified by email.)
Deadline for confirmation Successful students must submit a declaration within one working day after the announcement in person at the Centre for Higher Education Students or by email.
Note: The declaration may be submitted by a third party with a letter of authorisation. If a candidate fails to submit the declaration, they shall be assumed to have forfeited the right to participate in the programme.
Obligations
  1. Particpants are required to submit a report of at least 500 words (Chinese or English) to DSES within 10 working days (December 23 or earlier) subsequent to completion of the course.
  2. Before registering, the candidate shall make sure that the programme will not affect their formal school arrangements.
